Intersuisse Corporate changes to PhillipCapital Australia to increase Asian investments in Australian companies

9 December 2007 – Intersuisse Corporate has entered into a new venture with a major Singapore based financial group PhillipCapital to increase exposure to Asian capital for Australian fund raisings. The two entities have launched a new Asian focused corporate and fund management practice based in Melbourne.

Intersuisse Corporate has changed its name to PhillipCapital Australia and will operate as the Australian arm of the international PhillipCapital group. Local fund management activity will include a resources fund, adding to the group’s international fund management assets which exceed S$5billion.

PhillipCapital has a significant shareholding in PhillipCapital Australia , together with local managers.
