PhillipCapital’s First Investor Hub – Bringing Financial Services Nearer to the Heartland

22 February 2008 – Adopting a clubhouse concept, Phillip Investor Hub enhances consumer convenience with seven-day service and extended hours

PhillipCapital’s first Investor Hub – conveniently located at the fringe of city near Novena MRT station - will be officially launched on 23 February 2008. Adopting a clubhouse concept, Phillip Investor Hub aims to bring our wide array of financial services nearer to the heartland and enhances consumer convenience with our seven-day service and extended operating hours.

After a successful bid for the state land at 3 Shan Road last June, PhillipCapital has spent close to $2m to convert the 22,593 square feet gross floor area building to house the Phillip Investor Hub. Compared to PhillipCapital’s nine other Phillip Investor Centres, this new Phillip Investor Hub operates on a much bigger scale with cafeteria, lounge area, meeting rooms, presentation rooms as well as a rooftop garden for our client functions.
 
3. This new Phillip Investor Hub which offers one-stop integrated financial solutions, is opened to public from Monday – Saturday: 9.00am – 8.00pm, Sunday: 11.00am – 5.00pm. Potential investors can walk into our Hub to open accounts or to trade various financial instruments like Shares, Unit Trusts, Contracts for Difference and Futures/Forex. Potential and existing clients who are looking for a conducive environment to discuss their financial needs with their advisers can do so at our cafeteria over a cup of coffee. Educational talks/seminars will also be held regularly in this Hub to equip our clients with useful information on how to manage their money and finance, as well as market updates.

Additionally, the clubhouse concept adopted for this Hub aims to allow our clients to explore their investment options in a relaxed environment,” said Ms Lisa Lee, Business Development Director (Consumer Services).
