Application Security Engineer (In Partnership with IMDA)

Role Overview:

Lead the implementation of modern security tools and practices, focusing on integrating next-gen security solutions into the development lifecycle. Focus on enhancing application level threat detection, managing security incidents, and optimizing incident response processes.

Responsibilities:

• Security Design and Architecture: Integrate security into application design and architecture.
• Threat Modelling and Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and prioritize security concerns.
• Security Testing: Perform static and dynamic application security testing, including penetration.
• Vulnerability Management: Identify, document, and track vulnerabilities; ensure remediation.
• Secure Development Practices: Advocate for and implement secure coding practices.
• Security Tools and Technologies: Manage and integrate security tools; stay updated on new technologies.
• Incident Response: Investigate and respond to application security incidents.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Security Policies and Procedures: Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work with various teams to align security practices and communicate risks.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics or a related IT field
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Team-oriented, self-motivated and adaptable.
