Dealer (Corporate and Institutional)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Team Head to grow APAC Institutional and Intermediary business
  • Pro-active engagement and build good rapport with key institutional clients
  • Provide all round trade execution services on global equity markets through Bloomberg EMSX, GL and various proprietary trading systems.
  • Work closely with counterparties and back office on account related, post trade settlement and corporate action matters
  • Provide equity trading ideas and market colours
  • Actively implementing ideas and process changes to improve the whole trade life cycle

Requirements:

  • Degree in any relevant discipline
  • Certifications in CMFAS 1A, 5, 6, 6A will be advantageous
  • Prior background in serving buy-side and/or sell-side clients preferred
  • Good knowledge in equity markets and various trading systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills, articulate, meticulous, team player, able to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in Excel preferred
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken (in order to liaise with Chinese clients)
  • Required to work on selected public holidays
  • Able and willing to travel on short overseas trips when required
