Intern, Analyst Programmer (Wealth Management)

What You Will Be Working On:
Phillip MyWealth is a comprehensive wealth management platform designed to empower financial advisors in managing their clients’ investment portfolios effectively. Developed by the dedicated IT Development Team at Phillip Securities, the platform is continuously evolving to meet the demands of a dynamic market and rapidly advancing technologies. As Phillip MyWealth expands its reach to network offices beyond Singapore, the solution must integrate seamlessly with monitoring and observability tools to support future growth. As an Analyst Programmer Intern, you’ll play a pivotal role in this growth journey by collaborating with System Analysts to explore innovative tools—both within and beyond AWS—to enhance the platform’s architecture and scalability.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Participate in research and development (R&D) to explore cutting-edge tools and technologies that enhance the integration and scalability of our wealth management platform.
  • Collaborate with system analysts to design and prototype solutions using AWS services and other monitoring and observability tools.
  • Contribute to the implementation and documentation of these solutions, ensuring they align with the application’s future expansion needs.
  • Help improve and enhance our test automation frameworks and workflows, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines in alignment with DevOps best practices.
  • Work in an agile development environment, gaining hands-on experience with real world projects.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A keen interest in exploring cloud architecture, system integration, and emerging software development technologies.
  • Familiarity with programming languages like C# and front-end frameworks such as Angular. Knowledge of DevOps tools and process improvement frameworks is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively share ideas and technical findings.
