What You Will Be Working On:
The Credit Risk Management Department (CRMD) is responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring the risks associated with the potential default of our clients. As a Business Analyst Intern, you will contribute to enhancing our existing Credit Assessment System, a machine-learning-enabled platform that facilitates credit limit approvals through an automated flow from our trading representatives and clients. You will incorporate new qualitative and quantitative data into the system to enhance the model’s robustness and reliability, enabling a more comprehensive assessment of credit requests.
In This Role, You Will
- Enhance your analytical expertise and broaden your understanding of credit assessment processes by evaluating individual financial profiles and assessing their creditworthiness.
- Develop technical skills in Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence by working closely with the IT department and Artificial Intelligence specialists to train and refine an enhanced machine-learning model, gaining practical exposure to the integration of technology and finance.
- Collaborate across teams and engage with IT System Owners to validate and establish data sources, playing a key role in forming the training data for the machine-learning model.
- Gain insights into the brokerage industry while learning about critical systems such as Risk Management System, Order Management System and various other information databases.

- Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records in the internal knowledge base.
- Proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
