Intern, Business Analyst (Middle Office)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and talented Summer Intern to join our Middle Office team and contribute to a major 2025 project. In this role, you will help in modernizing our systems and business processes by combining your business acumen with your programming skills.

Responsibilities:
Business Analysis

  • Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to understand existing business processes, identifying strengths and weaknesses.
  • Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Redesign and reengineer business processes to eliminate redundancies, streamline workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.

Technical Support

  • Utilize your programming skills to understand technical limitations and constraints.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Assist in developing and testing prototypes or proof-of-concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A keen interest in process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of Design Thinking or other process improvement frameworks is a plus.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) are preferred.
