About Phillip Advisory:
Phillip Advisory, the advisory division of Phillip Securities Pte Ltd, offers a comprehensive range of products, including insurance, investment (Unit Trusts, Securities), and more. As an intern in our Partnership Department, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of AI solutions, particularly leveraging large language models (LLMs), to optimize business processes.

Role Overview:
As an MLOps Intern, you will work on designing and implementing robust MLOps pipelines tailored for large language models, ensuring seamless transitions from development to production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, analyse current workflows, and contribute to reengineering business processes for improved efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Implement MLOps Pipelines: Develop and maintain pipelines that facilitate the transition of LLMs from development to production.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with relevant teams to understand existing business processes, gather data, and identify areas where AI can enhance efficiency.
  • Process Analysis & Reengineering: Evaluate existing workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline and improve processes using AI-driven solutions.
  • Support Model Fine-Tuning & Training: Assist in fine-tuning pre-trained LLMs (e.g., GPT-3, BERT, T5) for domain-specific applications.
  • Implement NLP Tasks: Work on text classification, named entity recognition (NER), and sentiment analysis using LLMs.
  • Model Evaluation & Testing: Support model performance evaluation using NLP metrics and assist with model improvements based on test results.

  • Data Collection & Preprocessing: Familiarity with collecting and preprocessing large text datasets for model training.
  • Model Fine-Tuning Support: Experience with fine-tuning pre-trained LLMs for specific tasks.
  • Basic NLP Implementation: Understanding of basic NLP tasks like text classification, NER, and sentiment analysis.
  • Model Evaluation & Testing: Ability to support the evaluation and improvement of LLM performance.
