If one of the immediate shareholders, which is a corporate, does not meet the $10 million net assets threshold for corporate AIs, but the ultimate shareholder of this immediate shareholder is an AI, the client can still qualify as an AI.
In the case of shareholders which are corporates themselves, they would be considered as AIs either because the corporate has S$10 million net assets or is owned by the AIs themselves.
