Job Description
- Work closely with the Team Head to grow APAC Institutional equity business.
- Proactively engage and build strong relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, broker-dealers, ETF issuers
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to revenue growth through client acquisition and increased trading volume.
- Provide all round trade execution services across global equity markets using multiple trading systems.
- Implement process improvements to enhance execution quality and the overall client experience.
- Provide timely market colour, trading ideas, and research insights to clients.
- Liaise with counterparties and back office on account opening, trade settlement and corporate action matters.
Requirements
- Degree in any relevant discipline.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; detail-oriented, able to perform effectively under pressure with a strong focus on teamwork.
- Sound understanding in equity markets and macroeconomic drivers.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking clients).
- Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
- Certifications in CMFAS 1A, 5, 6, 6A will be advantageous.
- Prior experience in institutional sales or dealing (buy-side or sell-side) will be considered a plus.
- Willingness to work on public holidays when required.
