What You Will Be Working On
The Credit Risk Management Department (CRMD) is responsible for identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring the risks associated with the potential default of our clients. We recently implemented an enhancement to our Credit Assessment System (“CAS”) that uses machine‑learning techniques to automate credit‑limit approvals. Although this project has reached its initial conclusion, it still requires ongoing validation and insight generation. At the same time, the department is expanding its use of AI-Agents and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline other workflows. As a Business Analyst Intern, you would split your time between testing and validating our CAS AI system and developing practical AI-Agent and RPA automation solutions, gaining real exposure to how these tools work in a regulated financial setting while delivering useful process improvements.
In This Role, You Will
- Enhance your analytical expertise and broaden your understanding of credit assessment processes by evaluating individual financial profiles and assessing their creditworthiness.
- Learn how to evaluate and validate an operational AI credit-assessment model, building a strong foundation in understanding how AI behaves in production and how its outputs are assessed in real business environments.
- Work closely with credit risk managers, automation specialists, and system owners, giving you valuable insights into how Risk, Operations, and Technology teams work together. This exposure would strengthen your communication skills and help you understand how technology is deployed across an organisation.
- Gain insights into the brokerage industry while learning about critical systems such as Risk Management System, Order Management System and various other information databases.
What We Are Looking For
We value the diverse skills and perspectives that each intern contributes. While meeting every requirement in full may not be necessary, having familiarity or developing expertise in the following areas would improve your ability to thrive in this opportunity and succeed as part of our team.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records in the internal knowledge base.
- Familiarity with AI-Agent and RPA platforms (e.g., UiPath, Copilot Studio, Power Automate) or low‑code tools is advantageous, but deep coding experience is not required.
