What You’ll Do
As a Business Analyst in POEMS Digital Trading, you will play a critical role in enabling a seamless digital trading experience, working cross-functionally with business, product, and technology teams to deliver high-impact initiatives across our digital trading platform ecosystem.
You will translate business needs into scalable, compliant solutions while driving measurable outcomes across delivery efficiency, platform quality, and user experience. Your success will be assessed through clear KPIs such as time-to-market, requirement quality, defect leakage, adoption metrics, and improvement in client journey performance.
Your work will directly influence platform stability, feature adoption, operational efficiency, and the growth of our digital trading ecosystem, turning strategy into execution with tangible business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support initiatives from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines, scope, and quality are met
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications
- Conduct gap analysis, manage scope changes, and support requirement prioritization
- Facilitate requirements workshops, solution design discussions, and stakeholder alignment sessions
- Review business rules, user journeys, and UI/UX designs to identify risks and improvement opportunities
- Work closely with developers, architects, and QA teams to validate solution design and implementation
- Produce and maintain documentation including User Stories, User Requirement Specifications, and process flows
- Support Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and reviews
- Coordinate UAT, release activities, and post-implementation support
- Track project issues and drive resolution through structured problem solving
- Support root cause analysis and continuous process improvement
- Ensure adherence to SDLC, Agile practices, and governance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken), with the ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with relevant internships, academic projects, or case study experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or product delivery will be an advantage.
- Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies; exposure through coursework or internships is acceptable.
- Interest in financial services, capital markets, or technology-enabled business processes; prior exposure to trading or post‑trade concepts is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail and structured thinking.
- Proactive mindset with willingness to learn, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good stakeholder engagement skills and confidence in clarifying requirements
- Exposure to tools or concepts such as JIRA, UI/UX design, or data analysis through coursework or projects is an added advantage
