Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Unit Trust Operations department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of subscriptions, redemptions, and switching transactions
- Manage and supervise the Unit Trust Operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance development
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from MAS and other governing bodies
- Coordinate with fund houses, custodians, and internal stakeholders on settlement and reconciliation matters
- Monitor and enhance operational workflows on the FAME platform and related systems
- Handle escalated client enquiries and resolve operational issues promptly
- Prepare management reports on operational performance and risk metrics
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in unit trust or fund operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
- Strong knowledge of unit trust operational processes, including NAV calculations, corporate actions, and fund settlements
- Familiarity with CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS) and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) requirements
- Proficiency in fund administration
- Excellent understanding of MAS regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
