Role overview
We are seeking an Operations Executive to support the day-to-day operations of our digital-assets business, both in Singapore and overseas.
The successful candidate will assist with client and counterparty onboarding, trade settlement, reconciliations, custody-related processes, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role suits a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, regulated, and evolving environment.
Experience in digital assets, cryptocurrency, decentralised finance (DeFi), or tokenisation is advantageous but not essential. Candidates with an accounting or finance background are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily operational processes across digital-asset products and services.
- Coordinate the onboarding of clients and counterparties, including banks, liquidity providers, exchanges, custodians, and other service providers.
- Assist with account opening, documentation collection, due-diligence requirements, and onboarding progress tracking.
- Manage end-to-end transaction operations, including settlements, asset and cash movements, custody and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with Compliance, Finance, Trading, Technology, Legal, and Risk teams on operational matters.
- Assist in preparing operational reports, management information, and regulatory or audit-related documentation.
- Provide general operational coverage and support during periods of increased workload or reduced team capacity.
- Undertake other operational duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 2–4 years of experience in operations, settlements, reconciliation, fund administration, banking, brokerage, payments, accounting, or another relevant financial-services function.
- Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to record-keeping and operational controls.
- Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across different teams and jurisdictions.
- Willingness to learn about digital assets and work in a developing business environment. Open to working with AI-enable operations workflows.
Preferred qualifications and experience
The following would be advantageous but are not mandatory:
- Experience or knowledge of cryptocurrency, digital assets, DeFi, blockchain, stablecoins, tokenised assets, or tokenisation.
- Experience with digital-asset exchanges, custodians, wallets, liquidity providers, or blockchain transaction monitoring.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycles, treasury operations, settlement processes, or custody operations.
- Experience in client or institutional counterparty onboarding, including KYC and AML documentation.
- Accounting or finance qualifications or relevant practical accounting experience.
- Experience working in a regulated financial institution, fintech company, securities firm, asset manager, or digital-asset business.
- Experience supporting cross-border operations or working with stakeholders in multiple jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with operational risk management, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Comfortable working with new products and evolving processes
