Intern, Business Analyst (IT Business Analysis)

What You Will Be Working On:

Ever wondered how a securities trading platform or wealth management system actually comes together behind the scenes? As an IT Business Analyst Intern, you’ll get a front-row seat to it.

The IT Business Analysis team is the go-to team Business Units rely on to turn ideas into real, working platforms. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to core TradFi (Traditional Finance) systems — think Securities Trading Platforms and Wealth Platforms — while working alongside experienced BAs and PMs who’ll guide you through real project work, not busywork.

You’ll also help plan and run our internal IT Conference, held every 6 months — a great chance to flex your organizational skills, work cross-functionally, and see your ideas come to life in a real event.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Engage directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into clear, actionable insights.
  • Take ownership of a project as a Project Manager or IT Business Analyst — this isn’t shadow work, you’ll help drive real outcomes.
  • Research industry trends and emerging tech to help shape what we build next.
  • Learn how to write User Requirement Specifications and Test Cases — a foundational skill for any BA or PM career path.
  • Explore how AI tools can streamline business analysis, documentation, and testing workflows.
  • Help plan, organize, and run our internal IT Conference 2026 from the ground up.

What We Are Looking For:

We care more about mindset than a perfect checklist. You don’t need to tick every box below — just bring curiosity and a willingness to learn:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • A curious, analytical mind — you like asking “why” and connecting the dots.
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
  • Bonus points if you’re familiar with Scrum, Waterfall, Design Thinking, or Customer Journey Mapping — but we’re happy to teach you if you’re not.

If you are looking for an environment of growth and opportunities, please send a cover letter with your resume, stating the position applied, present and expected salaries to recruitment@phillip.com.sg

We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
