Intern, Compliance Analyst

What You Will Be Working On:

Join our Group Compliance team and gain exposure to the role of compliance within a regulated financial institution. You will work alongside compliance professionals to support day-to-day activities, understand regulatory requirements, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of compliance processes.

As the department continues its AI and digital transformation journey, you will have opportunities to support the exploration, testing and adoption of emerging technologies, while sharing fresh perspectives and ideas on how technology can improve the way compliance work is performed

In This Role, You Will:

  • Support the team in various compliance-related activities and projects
  • Participate in process improvement and transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support the testing, validation and adoption of internal tools, automation solutions and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Work closely with team members to identify opportunities for process enhancement and share ideas for improving existing ways of working.

What We Are Looking For:

We value interns who bring curiosity, technical aptitude, and a passion for compliance innovation. While you may not need to meet every requirement fully, familiarity with the following will help you succeed:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Data Analytics or a related field.
  • Familiarity with coding, automation or AI tools would be an advantage. Exposure to Python, Power Automate, SQL, low-code platforms or AI applications is preferred but not required.
  • Strong Interest in AI agent creation, building automation processes and emerging technologies in compliance.
  • Strong written English, with the ability to reduce a dense regulatory document to a few clear sentences.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
