Yes. You are allowed to use the funds to trade on POEMS. However, to be eligible for the promotion, the nett balance of deposits at the end of each day of the 30 calendar days period must not fall below the minimum deposit amount of S$3,000.

Yes, you can make multiple deposits to reach the total amount for the Promotion (capped at S$50,000). However, do note that the deposit must be credited into your account and placed into the Phillip Money Market Fund (PMMF) from Qualifying Insurance Plan sign up date to two weeks after Qualifying Insurance Plan’s inception date.

Yes, you can top up more than S$50,000 to SMART Park. Your excess deposits from above the cap of S$50,000 will earn from SMART Park returns and will not be eligible for the 6% p.a. guaranteed returns.

Any debit transaction, including fee deduction, withdrawal, and trade settlement resulting in the account balance falling below the deposited value during the 90-day period will result in the Eligible Customer being disqualified from the Promotion.

After the 90-day period has ended, PSPL will top up the difference between 6% p.a. and SMART Park returns that your cash has made from SMART Park.


Example:


Customer A funded S$50,000 and held the deposit of S$50,000 over 90 days.


He will get: S$50,000 X [(6%/365 days) X 90 days] = S$739.72.


Let’s say Customer A’s cash in SMART Park grew 3% p.a. for the 90-day period or S$369.86 in valuation.


PSPL will credit the bonus payout of: S$739.72 – S$369.86 = S$369.86


The bonus returns (i.e. difference between 6% p.a. and the underlying SMART Park return) will be paid out in SGD in your account.

The bonus reward (i.e. difference between 6% p.a. and the underlying SMART Park fund return) will be credited in lump sum to your account within 30 business days after the 90-day period ends. The 6% p.a. guaranteed returns consist of 2 components:


Returns earned in valuation of your deposits that were placed in SMART Park Phillip Money Market Fund (PMMF).

We will top up the difference between 6% p.a. and the returns that your deposit has earned from the SMART Park PMMF into your account.

(27) “6% p.a. guaranteed returns for 3 months (90 days) on cash placed in SMART Park”
(27.1) Each Eligible Customer will be entitled to enjoy 6% p.a. guaranteed returns for 3 months (90 days) from the date of ……………………….. , from a minimum of S$1,000, up to a maximum amount of S$50,000 placed in SMART Park for the Qualifying Plan issued.
(27.2) No combination of annual premium policies is allowed. Example: Mrs Tan purchases 2 policies. Plan A: S$3,000 Annual Premium Plan B: S$9,000 Annual premium She will be eligible for the promotion in respect of Plan B only, which is the plan of higher value.
(27.3) Eligible Customers may choose to deposit the funds into an existing eligible account or open a new eligible account. Customer must opt in and consent to the “Excess Funds Management Facility (SMART Park)” before the Qualifying Plan’s for account type such as Cash Plus, Cash Management, Prepaid, Custodian, Margin accounts.
(27.4) Eligible Account types include Individual accounts namely – Cash Plus, Cash Management, Prepaid, Custodian, Margin, and UT advisory wrap accounts (cash fund source).
(27.5) The deposit has to be fresh SGD cash funds transferred from the Eligible Customer’s bank account, and does not include funds transferred within PSPL accounts, cash dividends, sales proceeds or account credit transactions.
(27.6) The deposit must be credited into the Eligible Customer’s PSPL account from insurance sign up date to two weeks (14 days) after the policy inception date.
(27.7) The bonus returns will be calculated based on a period of 90 days from 2 weeks (14 days) after the Qualifying Plan’s inception date provided a qualified deposit is made.
(27.8) The bonus returns (i.e. difference between 6% p.a. and the underlying SMART Park fund return) will be credited in a lump sum to the Eligible Customer’s PSPL account within 30 business days after the 90-day period ends.
(27.9) Any debit transaction, including fee deduction, withdrawal, and trade settlement resulting in the account balance falling below the deposited value during the 90-day period will result in the Eligible Customer being disqualified from the Promotion.
(27.10) Each Eligible Customer is only eligible for one bonus reward in one of the accounts.
(27.11) If an Eligible Customer has more than 1 eligible PSPL account, the account first funded with S$1,000 or more (1 lump sum) will be considered to be eligible for the bonus reward.
(28) “New Customer” refers to new customers of PSPL, and have no prior record or POEMS account – eligible to participate in the Ang Bao draw up to 3 (three) times.
(29) “Student” refers to new customers of PSPL, with a valid Singapore student pass – eligible to participate in the Ang Bao draw up to 3 (three) times.
(30) “Eligible Account” refers to Individual accounts namely, Cash Plus, Cash Management, Prepaid, Custodian, Margin, and UT advisory wrap accounts (cash fund source).
(31) “Eligible Customer” refers to new customers who create a POEMS Account and existing customers who have an existing POEMS Account, and complete the respective criteria during the Promotion Period.

i. By entering into the Ang Bao Draw, you acknowledge and agree to all the Terms and Conditions as set out herein.
ii. PSPL reserves the right to use any other method or medium at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the winners of the Ang Bao Draw.
iii. PSPL reserves the right to amend the Ang Bao Draw Period at any time without prior notice.
iv. By entering this Ang Bao Draw, you agree that, if your participation leads to a win, you grant PSPL the royalty free, non-exclusive right to reproduce it for any purpose at any time in any media with attribution.
v. PSPL may request a valid identification of NRIC number/passport number of any Winner before the prize is awarded.
vi. PSPL reserves the right to forfeit any prizes for any Winner who does not adhere to the terms and conditions of the Ang Bao Draw upon the prize collection.
vii. PSPL reserves the right to cancel, modify, suspend or delay the Ang Bao Draw at its sole discretion.
viii. PSPL has the right to use the names, photographs, videos and/or other submission materials of the participants and all other entries for publicity purposes without any prior notice to you. The participants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on the materials.
ix. PSPL reserves the right to change, amend, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions without prior notice at any time and the participants shall be bound to such changes.
x. By providing the personal information upon the submission of entries, the participants consent and are agreeable to the usage of their personal information by PSPL, including but not limited to names, videos and photographs.
xi. By participating in the Promotion, each Eligible Customer is deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and any other instructions, terms and conditions that PSPL may issue from time to time.
xii. PSPL assumes no responsibility for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected forms or email communication, for technical hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed incomplete, distorted or delayed electronic transmission which may limit a Qualifying Customer’s ability to participate in the Promotion.
xiii. PSPL has the sole and absolute discretion to exclude any Qualifying Customers from participating in the Promotion without any obligation to furnish notice and/or reason.
xiv. PSPL reserves the right to disqualify or disregard any Qualifying Customer who does not comply with the terms and conditions.
xv. PSPL may at its discretion forfeit the Promotion, or, if already awarded, reclaim the Promotion at the expense of the Qualifying Customer without payment, compensation, or having to give any reason whatsoever in the event PSPL subsequently discovers that the Qualifying Customer is not eligible to participate in the Promotion and/or to receive the Promotion.
xvi. PSPL reserves the right to replace any Promotion with items of similar value at any time without prior notice.
xvii. PSPL shall not be liable for any loss of, damage to, defects, delay, mis-delivery or non-delivery of the Promotion.
xviii. PSPL reserves the right to deal with any unclaimed Promotion in any manner it deems fit.
xix. PSPL reserves the right to request for the Qualifying Customers’ proof of eligibility, identity and/or otherwise for the purposes of verifying the Qualifying Customers’ claim to the Promotion at the time of collection.
xx. PSPL is under no obligation whatsoever to disclose the identity of the Qualifying Customers or to publish the same for any reason at any point of time.
xxi. The Promotion is non-transferable, not exchangeable for cash, credit or any other items of equivalent value.
xxii. By participating in this Promotion, each Qualifying Customer agrees and consents to the collection, use and disclosure of any and all personal data of the Qualifying Customer by PSPL and its advertising and promotional agencies for the purpose of administering and/or publicizing the Promotion, and providing the Qualifying Customer with marketing, advertising and promotional information or materials relating to the products and services that PSPL offers.
xxiii. PSPL may at any time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice or assigning any reason thereof or being liable to any person,
a. suspend, cancel or terminate the Promotion, or
b. delete, vary, supplement, amend, modify any one or more of the terms and conditions of the Promotion.
xxiv. PSPL’s determination of all matters in connection with the Promotion shall be final, binding and conclusive.
xxv. PSPL is not obliged to give any reason or prior notice on any matter concerning the Promotion Period or the Promotion. No appeal, correspondence or claims will be entertained. PSPL has the right and discretion to determine whether a party has met the requirements of the Promotion and/or to redeem the Promotion. Qualifying Customers shall not be entitled to any damages or compensation whatsoever or howsoever arising as a result of such amendment, suspension or termination.
xxvi. By participating in the Promotion, all Qualifying Customers agree and undertake to, at all times, indemnify, keep indemnified, and hold PSPL, its employees and agents harmless against all losses (including direct, indirect, incidental and/or consequential losses), damages (including general, special, and/or punitive damages), demands, injuries (other than personal injury caused by PSPL‘s negligence), claims, costs, penalties, interest and fees (including all legal fees as between solicitor and Customer or otherwise on a full indemnity basis whether or not incurred in respect of any real, anticipated, or threatened legal proceedings), howsoever caused by, arising or resulting from, whether directly or indirectly, their participation in the Promotion, acceptance or usage of the Promotion, and/or any breach or purported breach of these terms and conditions and/or any applicable law.
xxvii. PSPL makes no warranty or representation as to the quality, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the merchants’ goods and services in respect of the Promotion. Any dispute about the same must be resolved directly with the Merchant. The Merchant Terms and Conditions apply.
xxviii. In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the terms and conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
xxix. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials used in connection with this Promotion, in particular the Promotion, are the property of their respective owners. PSPL is not affiliated with, or endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates.
xxx. Failure by PSPL to exercise any of its right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.
xxxi. The Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and the Qualifying Customers agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
xxxii. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these terms and conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Right of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of these terms and conditions.
xxxiii. In case of dispute, the decision of PSPL shall be final.
xxxiv. PSPL, its affiliates and their respective employees and agents shall not be liable to any person for any loss, damage, injury, costs or expenses incurred, suffered, borne or arising from this promotion.
xxxv. The Qualifying Customer understands that he/she is entitled to withdraw his/her consent for the collection, use and disclosure of his/her personal data by notifying the Data Protection Officer (“DPO” ) of in writing. The Qualifying Customer also understands that by withdrawing his/her consent may mean that PSPL is unable to proceed with the respective Promotion Redemption.
xxxvi. PSPL reserves the right at any time in its absolute discretion to
(1) amend, add to, and/or delete at any time of these Terms & Conditions without prior notice (including eligibility and qualifying terms and criteria), and all participants shall be bound by such amendments, additions and/or deletions when effected, or to
(2) vary, withdraw, and/or cancel any items or the promotion itself without having to disclose a reason, and without any compensation or payment whatsoever. PSPL’s decision on all matters relating to the promotion are final and binding on all customers.
xxxvii. By taking part in this campaign, the customer acknowledges that he / she has read and consented to these Terms & Conditions.
