Business Development Manager (Life Insurance)

Responsibilities:

You will be part of a team to grow the life insurance business though the various sales channels.

  1. Actively identify new business opportunities
  2. Build and maintain good relationships with business partners and work closely with them on marketing strategies, trainings, etc
  3. Provide prompt and effective support to the various sales channels
  4. Assist in research, analysis and onboarding of life insurance products
  5. Conduct quarterly and adhoc trainings to the various sales channels
  6. Ensure that the daily operations run efficiently and smoothly, including commission payouts
  7. Work on reports to review sales production and incentives of FA Reps
  8. Assist in system and process enhancement projects to improve overall operational efficiency
  9. Ensure projects and processes are in compliance with MAS and company’s regulations

Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Tertiary qualifications in any field
  2. At least 5 years’ experience in life insurance industry
  3. Certifications in CMFAS Modules 5, 9, 9A & Health Insurance are preferred
  4. Background in life insurance operations will be advantageous
  5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Motivated and proactive
  7. Team player and also able to work independently
