Job Description
- Assist Team Head to grow APAC Institutional and Intermediary business
- Pro-active engagement and build good rapport with key clients
- Generate equity trading ideas and provide market colours
- To perform algorithmic and discretionary trade execution on global equity markets through Bloomberg, GL and proprietary trading systems
- Work closely with counterparties and back-room operations on account related, post trade settlement and corporate action matters
Requirements
- Degree in any relevant discipline
- Preferably with pass in the CMFAS module(s) 1A,5,6 and 6A
- Candidates with prior background in serving buy-side and sell-side clients will be preferred
- Good knowledge in equity markets and various trading systems
- Entry level candidates with positive attitude and keen interest in financial markets are welcomed to apply as training will be provided
- Able and willing to travel on short overseas trips when required
- Meticulous and client centric to provide excellent client relations
- Able to work under pressure
- Good in excel and vlookup
- Require to work on selected public holidays
- Strong interpersonal skills and a good team player
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
