Who You Will Be Working:
Phillip Insurance is the insurance arm of Phillip Securities Pte Ltd, with over 20 insurance partners under one roof offering a comprehensive range of products from our insurance partners. As an Intern in our Insurance Department, you will play a key role in identifying inefficiencies in our current systems and processes, support the development and implementation of automation solutions and helping to automate and improve business processes through the use of information technology (IT).
In This Role:
Your contributions will help streamline workflows, reduce manual tasks, and improve overall productivity, driving better outcomes for both our team and our clients.
- Collaborate with Key Stakeholders: Work closely with relevant Teams to understand existing processes, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Analyse Existing Business Processes: Study current insurance operations, workflows, and systems to identify areas that can benefit from automation.
- Support Process Reengineering: Assist in redesigning and automating workflows to eliminate redundancies, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

- Interest in process Workflow Automation: A strong interest in leveraging technology to improve business processes, operational efficiency and a desire to gain experience in modernising systems/ business processes.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in documenting processes, tracking automation progress, and ensuring accuracy in system integration.
- Collaborative and Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams, including operations, IT, and management.
- Familiarity with Automation Tools and Technologies: Knowledge of process automation platforms, robotic process automation (RPA), or experience with coding and scripting languages (e.g., Python, SQL, or other automation tools) is a plus.
