What You Will Be Working On

Phillip Investor Centre (PIC) is focused on growing our business and strengthening the way we engage customers through our investor centre network, partnerships, events, marketing initiatives and new customer engagement concepts.

As a Business Development Intern, you will work on projects focused on customer acquisition, customer engagement and business growth, with opportunities to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation and emerging technologies can be practically applied to improve the way we work and engage our customers.

Over the internship, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of selected projects from research and ideation through to development, implementation and evaluation.

In This Role, You Will:

• Support and take ownership of selected business development and customer engagement projects, from ideation to implementation.
• Research and identify new opportunities for customer acquisition, partnerships, campaigns and engagement initiatives.
• Explore practical applications of AI and automation in areas such as lead generation, customer engagement, marketing, research, content development, data analysis and internal workflows.
• Conduct market, customer and competitor research to identify emerging trends and opportunities relevant to financial services and wealth management.
• Develop presentations, proposals, business cases and project recommendations for management and internal stakeholders.
• Present project findings, outcomes and recommendations at the end of the internship.

What We Are Looking For

We value curiosity, initiative and the ability to turn ideas into action. While you do not need to meet every requirement, having some familiarity or interest in the following areas will help you make the most of this internship:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
• Strong interest in business development, customer engagement, marketing and/or financial services.
• Interest in Artificial Intelligence and its practical application in business.
• An inquisitive and analytical mindset with the confidence to experiment with new ideas.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate ideas into practical solutions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative and comfortable working with different stakeholders.
• Self-driven, resourceful and willing to take ownership of projects.
