What You Will Be Working On

As a Process Automation Intern, you will have the opportunity to learn how technology, automation, and AI can be used to improve everyday business processes.

Working alongside different business units, you will gain hands-on exposure to real-world automation projects – from understanding existing processes and identifying improvement opportunities to supporting the development, testing, and implementation of automation solutions.

In This Role, You Will

  • Work with different business teams to understand their existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation.
  • Assist in gathering and documenting business and process requirements.
  • Support the development of simple workflow automation solutions using tools such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, UiPath, or similar platforms.
  • Explore how AI and Generative AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot Studio, can be incorporated into business processes and automation.
  • Assist in testing automation workflows and identifying issues or areas for improvement.
  • Support the preparation of process documentation, user guides, test cases, and other project-related materials.
  • Conduct research on new automation, AI, and productivity tools that could potentially improve existing business processes.
  • Participate in discussions with stakeholders and contribute ideas on how processes can be simplified or improved.
  • Gain exposure to the different stages of an automation project, from understanding the problem to developing, testing, and implementing a solution.
  • Take on automation tasks or projects progressively with guidance from the team.

What We Are Looking For

We value curiosity, willingness to learn, and fresh perspectives. You do not need to be an automation expert or meet every requirement below. Some familiarity or interest in the following areas will help you make the most of this internship:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Interested in process automation, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, or technology.
  • Curious and willing to learn new technologies and tools.
  • Possess an analytical mindset and enjoy solving problems.
  • Comfortable communicating and working with people from different teams.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively with guidance.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Any exposure to Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, UiPath, Copilot Studio, programming, scripting, or other automation tools would be an advantage, but is not required.
  • Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is willing to learn, experiment, ask questions, and contribute ideas.
