IT Assurance Executive

You will be responsible in the fulfillment of IT Governance functions which includes Incident Management, Change Management, Business Continuity Management, IT Risk Management and IT Audit.

Brief Job Description:

  • Track and follow through reported production incidents from the identification of root cause and implementation of permanent solutions.
  • Prepare IT reports, coordinate regular meetings and follow-up discussions between IT, Stakeholders and Management.
  • Review IT processes and procedures, identify gaps and propose solutions.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties in doing IT Audits and Due Diligence Assessment of IT services or systems.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, regulatory notices and guidelines, and develop enhancements to existing procedures to ensure compliance to changes in these requirements.
  • Regularly keep BCP documents updated and complete regular business continuity management activities including DR testing and call tree exercises.
  • Document DR testing results, create a report with analysis and lessons learnt to improve business continuity procedures.
  • Carry-out IT Risk assessments with system owners and IT heads related to regulatory guidelines on TRM, Cyber Hygiene, BCM, Outsourcing, DLP/ PDPA, Cloud, etc.
  • Ensure that identified risks and gaps from the IT Risk assessment are reviewed, addressed and tracked for the completion of the remediation actions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in information Technology/ Computer Science or related fields.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT Governance, IT Risk management, IT Audit areas.
  • Strong understanding of MAS TRM, BCM, Outsourcing Guidelines, DLP and PDPA.
  • Knowledge of Financial Derivatives and Securities is preferred.
  • Preferably ITIL certified or equivalent is a plus.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills and able to present ideas to all staff levels including Management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with internal and external parties.
  • Meticulous in documentation and follow-through on action items.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to deal with changes.
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
