Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the Unit Trust Operations department, ensuring accurate and timely processing of subscriptions, redemptions, and switching transactions
  • Manage and supervise the Unit Trust Operations team, providing guidance, coaching, and performance development
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from MAS and other governing bodies
  • Coordinate with fund houses, custodians, and internal stakeholders on settlement and reconciliation matters
  • Monitor and enhance operational workflows on the FAME platform and related systems
  • Handle escalated client enquiries and resolve operational issues promptly
  • Prepare management reports on operational performance and risk metrics
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in unit trust or fund operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
  • Strong knowledge of unit trust operational processes, including NAV calculations, corporate actions, and fund settlements
  • Familiarity with CPF Investment Scheme (CPFIS) and Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS) requirements
  • Proficiency in fund administration
  • Excellent understanding of MAS regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
