Senior UI/ UX Designer

Role Overview

The Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for leading end-to-end product design initiatives, transforming customer and business needs into intuitive, scalable, and engaging digital experiences. The role works closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to identify user problems, conduct research, validate solutions, and deliver high-quality experiences across web and mobile platforms.

The Senior UI/UX Designer combines strong UX thinking with excellent UI execution, contributes to the Design System, and ensures solutions are usable, accessible, scalable, and implementation-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product design from discovery through delivery.
  • Conduct and participate in user research, interviews, workshops, and usability testing.
  • Translate user needs, business requirements, and insights into user journeys, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Design high-fidelity user interfaces with strong attention to usability, accessibility, visual hierarchy, and consistency.
  • Contribute to the Design System by defining, applying, documenting, and improving reusable components, patterns, and standards.
  • Define and document UX behaviour for responsive layouts, accessibility, dynamic content, and edge-case scenarios.
  • Identify UX issues and recommend practical, user-centred design improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define and deliver effective solutions.
  • Present and articulate design concepts, recommendations, and rationale to stakeholders.
  • Validate designs using research findings, customer feedback, usability testing, and analytics.
  • Support design reviews, UX QA, and implementation quality to ensure designs are delivered consistently and accurately.
  • Stay current with UX, UI, accessibility, industry standards, and evolving design practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of UX processes, Design System standards, and product experiences.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in UI/UX, Product Design, or Digital Experience Design.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work and problem-solving capability.
  • Solid understanding of user-centred design, interaction design, information architecture, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Strong UI design skills, including typography, layout, visual hierarchy, spacing, and component-based design.
  • Experience conducting or participating in user research and usability testing.
  • Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, prototyping tools, and AI-assisted design tools.
  • Experience working with or contributing to Design Systems and scalable component libraries.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional product teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, investment platforms, or regulated industries is an advantage.
